Acquiringa hint from minimal sibling Soha Ali Khan, actor Saif Ali Khan has also composed his feelings about the crude Mumbai strikes for a major newspapers. Saif writes, Mumbaikars are long lasting! The spirit of Mumbai back on its feet… I am sick and worn out of readingabout the mindset of the resilient Mumbaikar. What decision do we have? I really hope we don’t forget about this. The govt has unsuccessfulus again. Political figuresare marketing for your votes while the systems of the dead are not yet cremated. Mr Modi has offered a crore to Hemant Karkare’s widow. Everyone, as usual, is gaining his own mileage from a deplorable circumstance. The Taj in flames… 60 personsshot dead at the CST. 9/11 was not so close to us. Terror has come home. Who will protect us from this happening again? Is getting shot in the coffee shop of a 5-star hotel or getting killed in an huge increaseanother legitimate way to die? Like getting run over or dying of some disease? In our parents’ time, Beirut was called the Romeof the East — will Mumbai falterto a similar fate? I think there’s no tone of voiceof generous Islam at any place to be heard today, which is why I choose to express my anguish at what’s taking place about us today. We have either the fundamentalist pushes or a person blowing up the place. As an Indian and a Islamic, I feel like conveying my judgement and outright outrageat any party killing innocent people in the name of God, Allah or whatever we choose to call him. I am so worried that the complete religion will be judged and condemned. There are strong communal emotionsrunning through all stratas of our modern society and I find it hard to defend the fact that there seems to be a Muslim hand at the rear of every detonator. Indians must unite as Indians and not split under any situations on any line
